Scott Seymour presently serves as
GenCorp President and Chief Executive Officer and Aerojet
President.
Scott Seymour is a 35 year veteran
of the aerospace and defense industry. Mr. Seymour joined
Aerojet in Sacramento, California in January 2010 from Northrop
Grumman where he served in a number of senior leadership
positions including Corporate Vice President and President of
Integrated Systems, Vice President of Air Combat Systems, and
Vice President and B-2 Program Manager.
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman,
he was involved in the manufacture and flight testing of the
F-14A, EF-111A and the F/A-18A aircraft for Grumman Aerospace
and McDonnell Douglas. He was a member of the F/A-18A test team
that conducted initial sea trials on board the USS America in
1979.
A United States Marine Corps
veteran, Mr. Seymour holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical
engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, N.Y., and
received his Juris Doctorate from Western State University
College of Law in San Diego, California. He is a member of the
California Bar Association and previously served in the
Volunteers in Parole program, mentoring parolees through their
transition back into society. Mr. Seymour is also a member of
the Florida Institute of Technology Board of Trustees, the Board
of Managers of the U.S.A.F. National Museum in Dayton, Ohio and
is on the Air Warrior Courage Foundation Board.
Mr. Seymour is married and has four
children.
