The
Astronauts Memorial Foundation's Educational Mission is
to accelerate the effective application of technology in our
nation’s classrooms so that teachers and their students are prepared
to meet the challenges of the information age. In pursuit of this
goal, varieties of technology training programs are offered, and are
continually updated to keep pace with the changing technologies. The AMF's technology training, as judged by participant evaluations,
is among the best in the nation. More than 8,000 educators,
administrators, educational decision makers and university
professors have attended the AMF's wide variety of programs.

Since its
inception in 1994, The Astronauts Memorial Foundation (AMF) has been
providing the highest quality computer technology training customized to
the K-12 education environment. All of AMF's courses include a
combination of lecture and hands-on activities taught in a classroom
setting. The target audience for these programs includes technology
specialists, media specialists, computer lab teachers, technology
teachers and classroom teachers. Programs range from three to five
days in length. |

All of the courses include a combination of lecture and hands-on
activities taught in a classroom setting. A comprehensive manual
and the use of an individual computer station are provided to
each participant. The course material is continuously updated to
meet the current needs of the educational community. The instructors, all former teachers, are knowledgeable
and experienced with proven track records in their field of
expertise.
