TRAINING PROGRAMS

The Astronauts Memorial Foundation's Training Facility is located in The Center For Space Education at the Kennedy Space Center.

AMF's educational mission is to accelerate the effective application of technology in our nation’s classrooms so that teachers and their students are prepared to meet the challenges of the information age.  In pursuit of this goal, varieties of technology training programs are offered, and are continually updated to keep pace with the changing technologies. The AMF's technology training, as judged by participant evaluations, is among the best in the nation.  More than 8,000 educators, administrators, educational decision makers and university professors have attended the AMF's wide variety of programs.

The core programs offered by the AMF on a year-round basis demonstrate the power and potential of technology.  All of the courses include a combination of lecture and hands-on activities taught in a classroom setting.  The target audience for these programs includes technology specialists, media specialists, computer lab teachers, technology teachers and classroom teachers.  Programs range from three to five days in length.
